In modern enterprises, the use of compressed air is more and more common. The common compressed air dryers are adsorption dryer and freezing dryer. What is the difference between freeze dryer and adsorption dryer?
According to the principle of freezing dehumidification, the chiller cools the saturated compressed air from upstream to a certain temperature through heat exchange with refrigerant, condenses out a large amount of liquid water, and automatically discharges it out of the chiller after separation by gas-liquid separator, so as to achieve the purpose of water removal and drying. Suction dryer is based on the principle of pressure swing adsorption, will come from the upstream saturated compressed air under a certain pressure through contact with the desiccant, the vast majority of moisture adsorption in the desiccant, dry air into the downstream work, so as to achieve the purpose of deep drying.
Because of its principle, if the temperature is too low, there will be icing phenomenon, so its temperature is usually 2 ~ 10 ℃. The suction dryer does not need to change the temperature, and the desiccant (alumina) can carry out deep drying, so the outlet temperature of the suction dryer can reach below - 20 ℃, that is to say, it can achieve deep drying.
For the cold dryer, because the purpose of cooling can only be achieved through refrigerant compression, so the power supply will be high. As long as the valve is controlled by the electric control box, the power consumption of the suction dryer is usually only about tens of watts, that is to say, there will be no power loss.
Because the cold dryer is to achieve the purpose of water removal by changing the temperature, and the water is discharged from the machine through the automatic drainer, so there is no loss of air volume. The dryer needs to be regenerated after water absorption saturation, so it needs about 12-15% regeneration gas loss.
Because the refrigerant system and air system of the dryer, including the electrical part, are relatively complex, and only the valve of the dryer has the possibility of failure due to frequent action, so in general, the failure rate of the dryer is lower than that of the supercooled dryer.
Generally speaking, the suction dryer is better than the cold dryer in terms of stability and effect, just because it needs to consume a certain amount of regeneration gas, so we usually ask customers to weigh the pros and cons before making a choice. But now there are more and more manufacturers choose suction dryer, it should be said that this is gradually becoming a trend
